IMT a committed and recognized leader within the European ecosystem and on the global stage
Faced with sovereignty challenges and opportunities at European and international levels, IMT is strengthening its influence and expanding its actions beyond national borders. By building on European ecosystems and networks, IMT aims to engage in more international alliances and large-scale projects.
These activities span all IMT missions – education, research, innovation, and economic development – and actively involve all stakeholders, fostering collaboration to shape a sustainable and innovative future.
EULiST, European Univerisity
Linking Science and Society
IMT is member of EULiST since 2022.
Together with IMT, EULiST now brings together ten partners with complementary strengths in the engineering sciences, humanities and social sciences. EULiST aims to develop new solutions dedicated to the climate transition to tackle to the main socio-economic challenges and build a sustainable future together.
Erasmus + Charter
Erasmus+ charter renewed until 2027
With this renewal, the IMT will be able to benefit from funding for projects aimed at strengthening its international strategy:
- international mobility for its students and staff
- training of international students and internationalisation of campuses,
- cooperation partnerships between countries to develop innovative educational projects,
- sharing best practice,
- including people who are less inclined to travel,
- strengthening links between higher education and business,
- and promoting respect for the environment and civic engagement.
IMT will continue to make an active contribution to the framework programme in order to build a Europe of education and train socially responsible citizens.
German French Academy
for the Industry of the Future
To bring out the new paradigms of the industry of the future
As part of the partnership between the French Alliance for the Industry of the Future and the German Industry 4.0 platform, the ITM and the Technische Universität München (TUM) created the Franco-German Academy for the Industry of the Future on October 27, 2015.
This academy “without walls” is intended to enhance the complementarity of Franco-German research and training skills on the themes of the industry of the future by building on the two networks that are the Alliance for the Industry of the Future (France) and Plattform Industrie 4.0 (Germany).
