On Friday November 22 and Saturday November 23, we had the pleasure of kicking off the training and awareness-raising program created by IMT and Fondation Mines-Télécom, which aims to encourage young women to pursue careers in engineering.
This 1st immersive weekend was an opportunity for the new IMT Women Ambassadors to meet and share moments of reflection and exchange.
The schedule included:
- Presentation of the program by the 2023 – 2024 Women Ambassadors and speeches by Vincent Charvillat (Deputy Executive Director of IMT), Eric Sirven (Director of Fondation Mines-Télécom), and Gabrielle Landrac (Director of Education at IMT).
- Meeting with the program’s sponsors from partner companies: Florence Dufrasnes, Aude Gauthier-Moreau, Inès Martinez-Lavayssière, Hélène Houee, Lamia Yataghene, Nesrine Ettlili, Delphine Roché, Solveig Bachellery, Weronika Spiewak, Candice Marion and My-Linh Tong.
Thank you all for your commitment! - 4 themed workshops:
- “Learning by doing”
- “Leadership & self-confidence”
- “Discovering the ‘Engineer, why not me?’ kit”
- “Boost your motivation!”
What’s next? Time to head into the field, to put these new skills into practice at local secondary schools for the next generation of engineers!
Congratulations to our Women Ambassadors for their commitment! We can’t wait to follow this adventure. We would also like to thank Vinci for hosting us again this year at Leonard, as well as our partners Orange, BNP Paribas, Sopra Steria, Dassault Systèmes, RATP Group Foundation and Essonne Prefecture, who are supporting us in our commitment to equal opportunity.
